ABOUT ME
MURRAY LAISTER
I've worked on my own bikes and built my own wheels for years now.
The wheelbuilding side started with receiving "The Bicycle Wheel by Jobst Brandt" as a present from my wife, Jennie, This spawned many wheel builds and lessons learnt culminating in bespoke commission builds for friends and other customers.
The bike servicing and building side started when I bought my first hybrid road bike from Halfords and didn't get the level of service I expected. From there, the passion for building cleaner, better, faster bikes spawned in to owning many bicyles, on to working on family and friends bikes through to bespoke builds for friends of friends and now building for customers.
